Life in the Soil Chart
Life in the Soil Chart consists of a large synthetic paper chart, resistant to tears. It is accompanied by a mute chart, cutouts, and corresponding 17 research cards: springtails, fungi, bacteria, algae, protozoa, spiders, mites, nematodes, ants, beetles, snails, sowbugs, earthworms, chipmunks, field mice, millipedes, and ladybugs. Life in the Soil satisfy the Montessori science curriculum. It demonstrates the interdependency between living organisms within an ecosystem such as the soil. Children as young as 5 will enjoy learning about each living organism and placing the cutouts on the mute chart!
This is a beautiful activity about the life in the soil and animals within its layers. Hand-drawn illustrations will attract your students to this work and give them an opportunity to learn about the soil.

Where are Alison's Montessori materials manufactured?

Does Alison's Montessori accept Purchase Orders (POs) from schools?
Yes, we accept Purchase Orders from public schools and charter schools. The PO must be on a school or organization letterhead, signed by the Director or an authorized representative. You can place the order online and select the PO payment method, then fax us the signed PO.
What should I do if my materials arrive damaged?
Please call or email us immediately if your materials arrive damaged. Our customer service representatives will work to resolve the issue promptly. We ask that you retain the original shipping carton and packing materials.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship internationally. For deliveries outside of North America, we typically use DHL, USPS, or any other carrier. Please contact our customer support line for assistance with international orders, especially those over a certain dollar amount, which may require payment via wire transfer.
