Using a magnet, note if the object is “strong magnetic”, “weak magnetic”, or “non-magnetic”.” - Standard 3.5A\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eEarth and Space Sciences\u003c\/b\u003e - Standards 3.7, 3.8: e.g. “Bring the Sun \u0026amp; Earth charts. Draw a picture in your science copybook to show the relationship between the position of the earth and sun at the winter and summer solstices.” - Standard 3.8C\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eLife Sciences\u003c\/b\u003e - Standards 3.9, 3.10: e.g. ‘In your science copybook, make a column headed “Inherited Characteristics of Animals”. Write five physical characteristics beneath.” - Standard 3.10B\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eEngineering, Technology, and Application of Sciences tasks are included in all disciplinary core ideas above: e.g. “From the cultural shelves, bring a ball and ramp to a rug. Measure the ramp in inches or centimeters.
